Logitech G435 LIGHTSPEED & Bluetooth Wireless Gaming Headset Review
I’ll be the first to admit, I was skeptical about shelling out money on a gaming headset, especially at a lower price point like £33. But after using the Logitech G435 for a while, I’m hooked.
The moment I unwrapped this lightweight beauty (it weighs in at just 165g), I knew it was going to be different. The plastic parts are made from a minimum of 22% post-consumer recycled plastic and have a noticeable eco-friendly feel to them. But let’s get to the good stuff – sound quality.
The sound is surprisingly great, with 40mm drivers delivering carefully balanced audio that’s easy on the ears. And with compatibility with Dolby Atmos and Windows Sonic, you’ll be transported into your games like never before. The wireless aspect of this headset is seamless, whether I’m connected via Bluetooth or using the USB receiver.
Walking around my room, even with an open door, there’s no lag or interference in the sound quality. And with 18 hours of battery life, I don’t have to worry about stopping mid-game to recharge (although I do have a slight issue with the display not being as intuitive as it could be).
One area where this headset falls short is in terms of microphone quality – mine sounds a tad tinny at times, but again, it gets the job done. And for me, that’s all I need for casual gaming and music listening.
Overall, I’d say the Logitech G435 is an excellent choice for anyone looking for a great wireless headset on a budget. It may not have all the bells and whistles of more expensive options, but its light weight, long battery life, and crystal-clear sound make it hard to resist.
Pros:
* Excellent sound quality
* Long-lasting battery life (18 hours)
* Super lightweight design (165g)
* Eco-friendly packaging
Cons:
* Microphone quality could be better
* Display not particularly intuitive
* May feel a bit on the cheap side in terms of build quality
